FOMSCU Forums is in compliance with 17 U.S.C. § 512 and the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"). It is our policy to respond to any infringement notices and take appropriate actions under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") and other applicable intellectual property laws.

On January 4th 2010 we received this complaint

I am an employee of MedMaster Inc., a publisher of medical review textbooks. The books we publish are all trademarked with the title, "Made Ridiculously Simple."
We recently learned that unauthorized copies of our "Made Ridiculously Simple" books are available for download through sharing URL's on your website, Fomscu-Forum.com.  These are grounds for being an accessory for illegal activities.
Needless to say, this constitutes a serious violation of our rights, and we demand that this material be deleted immdiately. Under the US Copyright Act, a copyright holder may seek, in addition to other relief, up to $150,000 per work infringed, plus recovery of attorney's fees.
While MedMaster reserves all rights to subpoena records of your identity, and to bring a lawsuit, your promptness in removing the material will be factored into out decision.

3. I have a good faith belief that the use of this material in such a fashion is not authorized by the copyright holder, the copyright holder's agent, or the law;
4. Under penalty of perjury in a United States court of law, I state that the information contained in this notification is accurate, and that I am authorized to act on the behalf of the exclusive rights holder for the material in question. I hereby request that you remove or disable access to this material as it appears on your service in as expedient a fashion as possible.
